Imagine that you are a service provider.

Imagine that a customer of several years' standing phones to tell you that they are switching providers.

What is the obvious question? Why would you not ask it?

You know, it's amazing. When I leave a service provider because they're rubbish, they never, ever ask. When I'm leaving a competent service provider because of some technical issue (such as, for example, Virgin Mobile not providing a BlackBerry service) but I'm otherwise happy with them, they always, always ask why I'm leaving.

That's the weird thing -- I really am only leaving because I've found a better deal (BT Fusion, web + everything else for £6 pcm less, and Virgin don't even seem to do web). Maybe they've had a run of dissatisfied customers ...
