Final day on Fuerteventura ... beach, packing, failure-to-shop ...

Last Thursday we drove down to Aguy in the south-west of Fuerteventura, along twisty mountain roads and through pretty towns. Here is a dove and a blue sky. I'm holding the memory like a talisman against this cold grey rainy morning ...

Some photos on Flickr from last Tuesday (my birthday, which as you see started pre-dawn on the beach!). It was a lot warmer and brighter than it is here ...

I'm not going to post vast swathes of photographs. I've Flickr'd five from last Sunday -- we drove to the west coast to see the sun set and the harvest moon rise. The landscape is beautiful and strange and the light fantastic.

Fickle kitty and broken B. Final few miles enlivened by fog - cones, fans, sheets of light from cars and streetlights - like an impromptu lightshow for Kashmir. And so (insists Ozy) to bed.

Halfway back to Cambridge. Bugshaw munching Real Food, ladymoonray refuelling with tea, me photosynthesising. (insufficient natural light at con). Swisstone, meanwhile, is being Erudite with a book.

Sofa + G&T beats platforms + Rock Band: Battle of the Bands. Allegedly.
