Last Thursday we drove down to Aguy in the south-west of Fuerteventura, along twisty mountain roads and through pretty towns. Here is a dove and a blue sky. I'm holding the memory like a talisman against this cold grey rainy morning ...

I've just realised that we experienced the opposite of the Waterhouse exhibition. There were doves where there ought to have been pigeons (especially round the harbour).
