I am having a difference of opinion with Avnet, my otherwise-wondrous ISP.

They claim that they have moved my web space from server to server but it is still OK: "I can see it fine" are their exact words.

I contend that they have lost it. (And I have some whiny emails to back me up.)

If you can spare a moment to check ...

They may be correct in saying that they have simply moved your site to another server, but that server clearly isn't visible from the outside world. It's not uncommon for internal and external routings to be different, so the fact that they can see it means nothing.
