Horribly early start but should be fascinating - Beethoven Creatures of Prometheus and Piano no. 4 edit: #5 not #4, Brahms Symphony no. 4. No sign of any musicians yet ... A chap has come out to play the piano - I believe it may be Lars Vogt in civvies. Yay!

The beach next to Festival Pier, Waterloo - seldom accessible to the public, and underwater at high tide. This afternoon it was crowded! Poor pickings for a Thames beach (pipe fragments, tile and brick: little glass, less bone) but I did find a bottle-neck with stopper, and I managed a beach mosaic! Now managing a strawberry Bellini in RFH Members' Bar. Next: Beethoven and Brahms, again. Yay!

Last day of Darwin: Big Idea exhibition at the Natural History Museum. Exhibition variable: interesting, but poorly lit (white text on dark background doesn't help) and prone to bottlenecks, especially around the audio and video features. Also, captions need a better profreder. I did pick up a useful acronym - VISTA, Variation-Inheritance-Selection-Time-Adaptation. And some displays were gorgeous, tho' photography not permitted. Ahem.
