Horribly early start but should be fascinating - Beethoven Creatures of Prometheus and Piano no. 4 edit: #5 not #4, Brahms Symphony no. 4. No sign of any musicians yet ... A chap has come out to play the piano - I believe it may be Lars Vogt in civvies. Yay!

It was utterly rivetting, especially Lars Vogt just pottering around, riffing on Beethoven -- it was Piano Concerto #5, not #4, and #5 is in my top 3 classical pieces of all time -- before the orchestra got going. I have a Thing about concert pianists (hands! passion! conduit for something greater!) and am most disappointed to discover that Mr Vogt is married. Perhaps he needs someone to lounge around looking appreciative while he plays.
