Yes, Dreamwidth will allow you to read your LJ friends page from your DW reading page (but not quite yet)
A short summary of how Dreamwidth works
I doubt I'll be abandoning this LJ (it's a permanent account, for one thing) but I do have Tamaranth over there too, because why not? And if I can read LJ and DW from the same page (and, theoretically, other journal sites) that'll reduce the faff.
