Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] ladymoonray came over to look after me (bad joints) and generally improve things. One of her improvements was the introduction of Non-Humane Mousetraps -- seeing as how the mouse (mice?) have laughed at the humane sort.

Found in the humane trap this morning: the rodent equivalent of waving a little white flag, I suspect.

I believe it's nearly always mice, unless started by a cat-related chasing incident.

I know it's a pain having them in the house but it is eally rather sweet.

We used to have mice in my old house. Cute little things, indeed. However when you're trying to sell a house, not so good.

So we laid down poison, and ended up with dead mice under the floorboards in a very warm May. Utterly horrid. At least with a trap, you know where the damned thing is.
