Ozymandias' Day Out

Today I have mostly been fretting about [livejournal.com profile] ozymandias_cat, who has had a leisure break at the v-e-t due to constipation and being Not Himself. Vet was concerned about his laboured breathing, but I suspect this was stress -- it was very busy, vet was running an hour late and there were babies and frantic kitties and a Great Dane. Oz explained in great detail what he was going to do to each of them once he got out of his basket. He is not a timid patient.

Anyway, nothing showed up on blood tests, and naturally his appetite and bounce returned as soon as he had an audience. He is home now (they wanted to keep him in overnight, but I was plaintive, so he's back here on special luxury diet and strict instructions not to go out): back to v-e-t tomorrow afternoon.

Nearly had fresh cyclist to go with gooshy food, as someone decided to overtake me on the right, turning left, at a roundabout where I was going straight on. (No signalling from either party, but then *I* wasn't turning ...)

Anyway, we are going to have a quiet night in, perusing the Petplan website.

Poor Oz. At least he put all those nasty noisy things in their places. I hope he feels better soon.

I'm glad he's home. Hope the gushy fudz get things moving, as it were.

Ring me tomorrow if you feel like dropping round. I'll be helping spider with his Shakespeare homework, but I think I'll be allowed occasional breaks.

Oh poor Oz - and poor you! Few things are more worrisome than a sick cat. I see from his journal that he is planning to make noisy use of the litter tray as soon as you are asleep. I hope he follows through with that plan. Well, at least the part about using the litter tray! *g*

And yikes about the cyclist.

Here's to a better day tomorrow.

If special vet food is the Royal Canin low residue chicken, I have a few tins left from Panda's last upset stomach incident.

He probably ate something that disagreed with him. Like a tennis ball. Or an annoying small dog (are there any 'missing Yorkshire Terrior' notices on local lamposts?)

Hope he gets better quickly.

Might I be judged worthy enough to join his nibbs' community?
