Boots -- no, no, boAts ...

Went to the Boat Show last night. They weren't really geared up to late-night opening (most of the eateries closed, few events after 5:30) ... and I remembered why the Boat Show, held in January, didn't feel as though it needed an outdoor section. Freezing winds and icy rain (not to mention poor signposting and pocket-map) came between me and tall ships!

But we had fun. And I only bought one pair of shoes. (Swimming/deck shoes. Not spiky-heeled. Not even black).

Today have done nothing. It's taken me ages. Off to Plymouth tomorrow. Must pack. Must find tickets. Must do laundry.

One of the guys in the rifle club was talking about the Boat Show on Saturday. Apparently when they turned on the fans the boat pool moved (in the order of feet) along the floor. This may have caused the subsequent leak in the pool causing an awful lot of water to pour out.
