Ozymandias Update

As cat-owners know, a cat in need of examination will sprout many extra limbs. Luckily, I was able to call upon the Extra Limbs of Caro, and between us we got a good look at the affected area: definite limp but no sign of swelling, heat, breakage, broken claws, foreign objects in paw etc.

Oz is still limping today -- though not as much as he was limping yesterday when he had an Audience. It's no worse, though, so am inclined to leave vet-trip until it deteriorates, or if he's still limping by end of week.

It is two years today since Oz came to Rustat Rd.

Happy Arrival Day to Oz! I'm glad he's feeling better.

I would also be inclined to leave him alone and keep an eye on him as long as he seems to be healing. But take him in later this week if you're still worried. The weekend emergency vet is NOT cheap!

I'd be inclined to take him to the vet. These were Miss P's symptoms about two weeks after the fight, and it turned out that she had an infection. There is apparently a space above the hip where nerve is more vulnerable (I don't remember the technicallities).

Many happy returns of the Oz! Will he allow you out at some point for socialising ? I would be tempted to do what you're doing as regards vet.

Glad he seems to be improving! Hope it continues.

Two years! Yay, Oz!
