Could the BNP voter please unfriend me? (Still: could be worse, nils has lots).

In other news: tamaranth 1, DRM 0. (I don't mind paying money for ebooks. I do mind only being able to read 'em on the laptop.)

At least when I ran mine through this I didn't have any BNP supporters. If I did, I'd have been taking a very similar line to you I think.

Somebody might be signing their friends (or enemies) up as BNP voters. Is there any authentication on that site?

Having said which, elsewhere a friend has run a comparison LJ-poll, and give (or, happily, take) the odd BNP vote the results aren't too dissimilar.

well, I'm sure there are real people who do vote BNP, but I prefer zotz's explanation above: no authentication on the vote-site so people can masquerade as another LJ user ...

I only had the one BNP voter when I first posted this, but have added another half dozen in the two hours since my post, presumably in response to my comment about unfriending. I suspect someones not taking this entirely seriously...

Turns out I was one of the BNP voters, so shall go off and unfriend myself. (Have changed my vote back to what it was...)
