I've been out of the country (did I mention?) and am now frantically trying to compose a news column without having been around to trap things on the BBC, etc.

So -- any SF-related news for 1-31 Oct???

(In particular, did anyone reading this go to NewCon?)

Column goes off tomorrow morning. At this rate, it will be all about that Rowling woman.
