- part-baked baguettes
- swimming
- fast easy interweb on laptop
- Real-Life friends

Things I did not miss:
- over-humid air (could hardly breathe when I emerged from Heathrow)
- lack of contour lines
- grey sky
- being too warm to sleep well

Things I have done since I got back:
- appreciated la_marquise_de_, who braved M25 roadworks to meet me at Heathrow
- slept for 11 hours (despite ozymandias_cat's unparalleled joy at my return)
- opened 3 weeks' worth of post
- laundry
- (half)baked some bread

Things I am going to do today:
- swim
- email catchup
- e-banking
- photos to Flickr (maybe -- there are rather a lot to sort through)
- catch up with woolymonkey &co.

Things I am looking forward to:
- red wine evening on Friday
- ladymoonray on Sunday
- Constitution
- ms_cataclysm wedding
- classical concerts in September! (but there must be something sooner)
