1. ... slept badly (this very seldom happens to me any more, and in truth I didn't sleep badly: just wasn't tired enough to fall asleep before about 3.30am, and alarm went at 7.00am ...)
2. ... drove bugshaw to werk in sunshine: took scenic route back to avoid traffic ...
3. ... realised on narrow twisty country road that I suddenly had two more flat tyres ...
4. ... rang RAC (second time this week, third time in just over a fortnight) ...
5. ... read, listened to Radio 3, basked in frosty sunshine ...
6. ... RAC man (who thinks damage may have originated in Redhill, where I mostly parked on the pavement: no dropped kerb) took me to tyre warehouse and let me buy new (5yr guarantee!) tyres. ...
7. ... thus convincing me to buy cheaper (=boring colour*) replacement camera than I was contemplating ...
8. ... hasty drop-in at home, shower, cat-fuss ...
9. ... restorative cocktails for woolymonkey's birthday, and to assuage God of Flat Tyres ...
10. ... rain and hail as we strolled through Botanic Gardens with Botanic Cat (a greenhouse variety, elderly and elegant) ...
11. .... sleeeeepy, and none too convinced re: wisdom of Ashtanga class tonight.

so now I am officially skipping the rest of today and going to bed chill out with a good book. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

*I loved my waterproof / shockproof Olympus and wanted another just like it. No joy, but there are several current models in the range: newest is >£200 so I'm ignoring it, but others ...

In other news, the price-comparison sites have gone all useless: I actually had to go and look at different retail sites to compile my price list. How is this the 21st century?
