it's white and bright out there.

Ozy just indicated a desire to go out. There was considerable momentum until the door opened: he has excellent brakes, though, and disappeared very quickly in the direction of Further Indoors.

I like snow.

I did once see the late Jess bound out of the door, into the snow, only to swivel as the first foot hit the nasty white stuff and apparently come straight back in without the other three feet touching the ground. Only Sophie the Kitten ever thought snow was a good thing. None of my other cats have ever had anything to do with it.

Mollekens went out for all of about 30 seconds - but managed to reappear with a dead blackbird in his jaws! Now he's back outside looking for the toy we wouldn't let him keep...

I was about to have a strop about not having any snow. Then I opened the door and had a look. And we do! Only about 2", probably only enough to make it a pain (rather than impossible) to get in to work tomorrow. But it's very pretty.

Well, it's 76 degrees here, everything is starting to bloom, and my winter sweaters are languishing in the dresser.

Cleo and Figaro loved the snow. They'd each dig a hole, crouch down in it and leap up and out. And then it was dig-crouch-leap!-repeat until the whole yard was pocked with cat-sized craters, while I laughed and laughed. Furry lunatics.
