I have a cold and am sneezing like mad.

So is the cat. (He's sneezed fairly regularly since I acquired him, but he's sneezing more now. Just what I wanted at 4am this morning: a face-ful of cat snot.)

Any chance we have infected each other?

Hey, Oz, neat work getting it to cross the species barrier. Any sign of secondary primate infections?
Our plan is almost complete. Bwahahahaha!

In principle, yes. Many infections affect quite a few species.

I doubt it. Cats would be catching colds all the time if it were so, but mostly when they sneeze it is something else.

The answer seems to be: no, it's not your cold, but it might be a cold, and it's kinda of the sort of thing you want to keep an eye on: http://ezinearticles.com/?Can-My-Cat-Catch-a-Cold?&id=446420

I see it's been answered that cats doon't catch human colds. I couldn't remember, I only remembered that ferrets do. tWhen I had a ferret I always had to be careful not to sneeze on her or she'd catch my cold, poor little thing
