Had a lovely afternoon with [livejournal.com profile] ladymoonray yesterday, despite the fact that we were in Essex.

No time to post descriptive text, but have 9000 words' worth ...
Edit: pictures are captioned, just move mouse over them and pause ...

Was this in Southend, land of your childhood, as written about in Banana Wings some years ago? (It looks very flat...)

I don't think I'd have gone on that Tortle Swing if I'd realised how high it was!

Please post the narrative, when you have time :)

Standing stone? Hmph. Last walls of the castle (6000 points to anyone who spots obscure lyric ref). But yes, water was involved. Perhaps I was a sea creature in some previous existence (evolutionarily speaking, of course).

Time to write a meme?

"What kind of sea creature were you in a previous existence?"

-6000 points! It's a track on After Bathing at Baxter's, the 1967 album by Jefferson Airplane. Surely everyone is familiar with this seminal* work of psychedelia? <g>

* i.e. not actually very good
