Approaching normality

I'm starting to settle.

V-E-T yesterday -- my wounds, let me show you them. ozymandias_cat weighs 6.66kg. Vet say he should be around 6kg. My arms say he could do with losing a bit more than that.

GP immediately after V-E-T. Her eyes lingered on the fresh blood adorning my t-shirt until I explained that cat + catbasket = miniature, sabre-clawed, very bad-tempered kraken. Prescription sorted, registration complete.

Swam in proper 25m pool this evening, 500m, feeling much better for it.

Nanowrimo wordz coming somewhat more smoothly, though wordcount still under target: 16.5K. Aiming to hit 25K by end of weekend.

Pilates tomorrow. Possibly also introduction of ozymandias_cat to the Great Outdoors. Local residents ye be warned.

Possibility of snow at weekend, eeeeeeee!

certainly, I'll pop some in the freezer. (Would hail do? We had some of that a fortnight ago. I built a hail-blob: like a snowman, but (a) gender-neutral (b) less formed and (c) made of hail.)
