Had nice evening out with (initially) childeric, then dinner with ladymoonray, zoo_music_girl and easterbunny: we dined at the Bustaurant, which was extremely good though yes, I can get slightly travel-sick in a non-moving bus!

This is the first time I've come home to this flat after a night out and not been met at the door by an indignant cat.

Luckily, it's also nearly the last.

I know several people who'd consider a lack of indignant cats to be a Very Good Thing. Am not one of them, however, so {{hugs}}. (Lack of indignant cat vomit, on the other hand, is an Indisputably Good Thing. Hold that thought whenever you start to wibble.)

I think Zil might resent that description. But it fits.

Fruitcake doesn't just LURVE you, you know. She also LURVES the bricklayer, one of the men who reads the meter, the carpet layers, and, most of all, the man with the laser thingy who came to make a floor plan of our old house before we moved. She would dump you for him any day.

The tutorial flew by - this time I'd over prepared, but it was fun, and I taught them how to talk about paintings and nobody laughed at me. Also how to read Marlowe, but that's OK, I kinda know that. Paintings!!!! *iz expert*
