If I'd been in Havens Corners (hey, don't they need an apostrophe too?) I'd have taken my spraypaint and added '... which is full of interesting people' after the word 'hell'.
Hmm, must check what the Bible actually says about lesbians. If anything.
St Paul snipes at women who set aside natural urges, but this would equally apply to anyone using contraception. Just found a lovely Guardian piece (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2006/oct/14/religion.gayrights) that makes me want to reread the Book of Ruth.
isn't it all queen victoria; plus the homosexuality = shellfish = abomination is very probably temple prostitution = pagan = abomination rather than same-sex relationships...
no apostrophe - they own nothing that could be counted a haven
I just loved reading all the comments - I find it so funny when 'so called' Chritians either mis-quote the Bible or start spouting vengence etc..... It's funny as you read these comments you can just imagine them sucking thoughtfully on the end of their crayon trying to work out how to put down their bigotted comments without coming across as a bigot. I really dont care what people think - hey it's my choice if I want to go to Hell or not (if you beleive in all that) so why should they care - it's not like they actually 'care' about my imortal soul - they just want to pick on something........ The one comment I did like was someone mentioned that actually God (and therefore Christianity) should be all about love and forgiveness and besides it's God who makes the judgement so all those judging must consider themselves as good as God - interesting thoughts......
