I have half a bottle of Felimazole (2.5mg, pink, feline thyroid pillz) -- given how expensive this stuff is, I'd be happy to post / give it to anyone whose cat is on this medication.

Um, my mum's cat is on pink thyroid pills - I'm going over there later today to feed & water, I shall check what they are actually called and what doseage. If they're applicable, I know she'd be very grateful.

that'd be great! These are felimazole 2.5mg and I know they cost a ridiculous amount from the vet!

Mum's cat is on felimazole, but 5mg tablets, so that would mean 2 tablets at a time, and given how bad she (the cat) is at taking one tablet I'm not sure that's a viable option.

If you can't donate them, have you asked if your vet will buy back the unused tablets? I ask because that's what our one offered to do with the medication Cassie had for her final illness. In fact, we got a complete refund even tho' she'd had 2 of the tablets.

The other alternative is to see if one of the animal charities can accept them?
