I think the v-e-t put Shiva's brain back in the wrong way round.

Have phoned vet, waiting for her to call back and reassure me.

Chez Shiva, every day is laundry day.

She woke me up several times in the night for cuddles, and there's nothing like a damp smelly cat at 4am to make one feel affectionate. But she seems fine this morning, if a bit more demanding than usual.

Sam, meanwhile, is in a huge sulk. He liked being an only cat and would never stoop to such dramatics to get attention, hell no.

p.s. to my comment on the other entry. When it happened to Theo, my sister, who is a Physician Assistant* told me that with humans - especially thouse who are not in otherwise perfect health - stress + potentially a bit of dehydration and lack of food (as happened to Theo-kitty at vet when he was as worked up as they told me was and wouldn't really drink or eat while there) can in and of itself occasionally bring on a seizure as a reaction after the fact.

*(If you don't know: a PA is a US medical qualification of braodly similar level of responsibility to a Nurse Practitioner but in a non-nursing direction - My sister has a Master's in Medicine, just like a NP would have a Master's in Nursing.)
