The Beginning of another EPIC SAGA OF COMPLAINT

Some of you will remember my dealings with $FinancialMisadviceCo, culminating in a paltry settlement because I opted for closure over vengeance justice.
One of $FinancialMisadviceCo's last pieces of misadvice concerned property investment in Estonia. I was a little concerned about the advice I'd been given, but $OverseasPropertyCo were always helpful and provided quite a bit of backup when I was dealing with $FinancialMisadviceCo.
$OverseasPropertyCo -- henceforth $OverseasImaginaryPropertyCo -- were saving it up.
This, by the way, is the first email -- well, the first one containing actual information -- that I have received from them in over a year.
Dear client of [ImaginaryDevelopment]
Further to the final court decision regarding this development and the contractors I can confirm that the courts have ruled against the contractor and they must now refund clients who they have received deposit payments from.
Due to the complexity of these issues the Law firm acting on behalf of $OverseasImaginaryPropertyCo in Estonia have agreed to deal with clients directly regarding the process of deposit recovery.
Clients are now able to register with the Legal firm and begin the process of application. Please note that the Legal firm will agree terms with you regarding their services.
In other words:
- it's not going to be built
- you're on your own, ha ha
- and you have to pay some potentially-dodgy overseas legal firm to get your money back.
Well, no.
I have all my paperwork: I paid my investment to $OverseasImaginaryPropertyCo, who are Isle of Wight based (maybe they have confused it with the Isle of Man, which has a rather different legal status?): I have communications (though not many) from $OverseasImaginaryPropertyCo assuring me that they will look after my interests: I have located other disgruntled clients, who seem to be pursuing a class action: and ...
o the shame
... I have emailed the Daily Mail's 'Money' team, who have been promoting $OverseasImaginaryPropertyCo* and are apparently quite good at investigating misconduct.
Am considering hiring myself out as a kind of canary. Watch
tamaranth pick an investment / camera / financial advice co / car rental company / eBay seller! And then pick a different one!
*I know this because my sister gets the Mail, OK?
