Have decided to treat the dizziness / nausea as if it is labyrinthitus, because the name is cool.

Have yet to locate the anti-nausea pills I was prescribed for use during migraines: the only time I remember needing to look for them is when I'm feeling nauseous, and that isn't the best time to look for anything in the medicine box which is just above the cat tray which needs cleaning ...

Swimming, it turns out, doesn't set off the minotaurs. I'm greatly relieved by this as I remember how horrid it was to feel dizzy instead of calm, swimming, when I was on the last set of prescription meds.

The walk to and from the pool, even in this lovely and unforecast sunshine, does set me off.

Also, have resisted Toffee as this is no-shopping month and yes, even a Toffee Crisp counts. (However, adding toffee-flavoured drinking chocolate sachets to my Tescos order is permissable.)

When I stop feeling sick I plan to have Lunch.

If it is the kind of minotaurs I've had in the past, then holding your head still will help. Changing position (e.g. sitting up or standing up) will make it feel worse, so you'll want to do them slowly and give your head time to settle before doing the next thing.

Take care - have a virtual ball of wool (and free virtual kitten.

Yeah, changing position - getting up if sitting down, sitting up if lying down, turning your head - all likely to make it (temporarily) worse. Sitting/lying still for as long as possible is best.
