I'm planning on buying a lightbox, which I'm advised may help with my wintry slothfulness. Any advice?

I'd love to know how you get on. It's something I occasionally wonder about.

Abi recommends one in the comments to this post (http://ladymoonray.livejournal.com/670940.html). She's very happy with it.

hmm, pricy ... but if it works, then it might well be a sensible investment.

Also, on Philips site, looking at the wake-up light, which does inspire me in these months of pre-dawn starts. Though I shan't have to do that for much longer!

It is expensive, but I think you probably get what you pay for with those things.

We've got a wake-up light cos we *loathe* waking up in the dark. It's very good - takes about half an hour to go to from gentle glow to full brightness - full brightness is set for the time just before the alarm's due to go off.
