this makes me happy

In other news:
- have curtains, albeit rather more expensive ones than intended. I was wrong about needing 90x90 (229x229 in metric). Now I need about another foot of black velvet across the bottom. High ceilings!
- have swum 500m
- have driven to the Essex coast, 'cause I needed Bleak and Empty, and also to play Sugar's Copper Blue, loud, all the way through.
- have walked along Bleak and Empty seawall (actually about quarter of a mile from the sea, with plastic-strewn saltmarsh margin) having little plot-revelations.
- have written 800 words on laptop in car, (but got too cold; wet feet from Bleak and Empty &co)
- have written another 1500 words here at home by the fire
- know what happens in the next 1000 words, so will probably write them tonight.
- will then be back on track for Nano!


And finally, an LJ enhancement that I like a lot -- tag autocompletion (= no more misspelt variants). Yay!

it's these: in this colour ... so the black is the contrast already. I'd consider silver, but since the bottom foot or so of curtain is liable to acquire a thin coat of black fur ...
