Had to leave workplace early yesterday, due to Office Germs (to which I am unaccustomed): came home, lay in bed, felt really really ill and also sulky because I had been looking forward to B-Movie so much.

So at 8pm I decided to go anyway. (Couldn't have coped with public transport but as I am a minion of ladymoonray this was not necessary. All hail Kate!)

I recommend a cocktail of Stugerol (travel-sickness tablets), sugar-free Red Bull and Guinness. Went bouncebouncebounce* for a reasonable amount of the time (music not quite so much to my taste this time, though they did play the utterly wonderful Open Up featuring John Lydon).

And am unnaturally bouncy this morning too, though I've had an excellent six hours' sleep. This seems sufficient these days ... must be getting old and past it.

Have dealt with all sorts of Stuff (had forgotten about packing everything into weekends due to Work) and am now going to, er, do more. And dig out picnic gear.

*Some people's definition of B-Movie underwear is corsetry. Mine's a sports bra.

I don't know how you do it. I've had just over 8 hours and I'm having great problems coming to term with being awake.

I left about 1.30 with tobesv and hawkida. It'd got v.hot and was utterly packed.
