2. Anna quoting Cory Doctorow: 'there are days when you think what you're writing is brilliant and days in which you think that your are producing utter crap, and three months later you won't be able to tell which was which.'. Which is exactly what I needed to read right here, right now.
3. Wikipedia entry which I located via a long string of guessy search terms and which helped me identify a novel I read 15-20 years ago and really want to reread.
4. Bookmooch, where I found and mooched said novel (Orphan of Creation, Roger Macbride Allen).
5. Explanation for the outbreak of pregnancies on my f-list.
