Friday! and Culture Alert
Friday, September 7th, 2007 10:44 amCulture Alert: Anyone interested in a Preisner premier at the Barbican, 2nd December? I have adored Requiem for my Friend (Amazon page has samples) for years, but Preisner concerts are thin on the ground, at least in the UK.
Day did not get off to a good start; bloke at petrol station reversed into me, then came and shouted at me because he hadn't seen me. Yes, 'twas a 4x4.
But I did have a lovely drive around looking for another petrol station (having driven off in a rather wobbly state and only realised 5 miles down the road that I hadn't actually bought petrol (or medicinal chocolate)).

How bad's the damage? Is it an insurance job? The guy who reversed into me in a car park happily admitted to it at the time then tried to blame me (said I'd driven into him) when the insurance companies got involved. I'm just wondering abut obtaining CCTV footage from the petrol station to prove it was him, although you'd probably need to inolve the police to get it.
