Three things from the sorting office
Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 02:26 pmI went down to the sorting office and came away with three things:
1. A suppressed smirk at their 'Community Affairs' award, certificate of which was hung on the wall, rather dusty and dated 1993.
2. The Family Sea (Piratica 3) -- Tanith Lee
3. Another book:

... which arrived with the message "When in doubt, flick open at random and remember you're bloody good at this lark!"
Sender, and book-binder, being my dear co-author.
Am now feeling simultaneously wistful, jittery and empowered.
It really is about time I started to write again. (Apart from anything else, I think it does me good, mentally and emotionally, to be writing.) The urge to be putting together and playing with words is resurfacing after a couple of months in which I couldn't think about it without feeling miserable.
And it's probably time I started to chase the possibility of this being available in an edition of more than two, from somewhere other than the Wakamarina Press.
