Booker Longlist ...

I don't know whether the 'flavour' of the Booker has changed over the last few years, or whether it's me that's changed: but a reasonable percentage of these sound interesting, which was seldom the case in the past.

Anyone know if any major booksellers (online or off) are doing Booker promotions yet?

I've not always seen the long list; McEwan is the only repeat nominee - and he's previously won it. I think his is the only book I remember the reviews for, though Wilson, say, is hardly an obscure name.
