soulstar, could you tell Ali that my cats are yellow-bellied cowards when it comes to innovation? Though they may eventually cotton on, especially if I forget to fill their water bowl ...
Hee, I got our two one of those as well. Nanshe is always the braver one, and she took to it pretty easily and now loves lapping from the fountain dome itself. Banderas is a bit dim though, and still only drinks from the bowl bit, and then only grudgingly.
Watch out for when the water level gets low, it makes heaps of noise. I'm not sure Banderas goes near it at all when it does that.
I think Zil, my mother cat, would actually LIKE this! (She likes children's birthday parties - that's how weird she is!) She also likes to balance on the edge of the bath when I'm having a soak and play with the dripping tap. She's fallen in a few times, but she comes back...
Her daughter, Fruitcake, is a Real Cat and would never stoop to this or enter a house with a water feature in it. So much for heredity. Or maybe we all react against our mothers...
