THERE IS A FOX IN MY BEDROOM.

The cats are sitting on the bed staring at it.

(It's just stuck its head through the open door. Probably enquiring whether I wish to take any more photos or whether it can go now.)

Blimey! Despite living in the vast wilderness of rural Northants, that has never happened to me. The only wildlife that makes it to our bedroom has been transported there by cats.

Hope the fox doesn't do anything untoward.

I have seen urban foxes waiting in line at bus stops, but this takes interaction one stage beyond. Oh, dear, I do hope it behaves itself.

Nah, foxes tend to avoid domestic cats wherever possible, despite being (generally) larger than them.

Foxes go for the easy option - no point having to fight a spitting ball of fury & claws when you can just avoid it instead...

Watch out for fleas. And possibly pinworms. If it was scratching itself silly or had any bald patches, watch out for scabies, too :)

O.O How fab! As long as it doesn't come in when you're not there.

I echo the plea for photos...and I hope you've managed to get it out of the house and back where it should be!
