Following the conversation here ... yesterday I had a phone message from the appointments secretary. I have just spoken to her.

AS: "Dr H has asked if you'd like to come in earlier."
T: "For sure, if you have a cancellation or something ..."
AS: "Monday 10am?"

I am not sure whether this is Good or not. (They asked me to come in sooner? Really soon? Despite their first standard appointment being in June? what did my test results show?)

But it does get it over with.

Also, Monday-morning lie-in yay!

It's just possible that they had a cancellation and they started working their way alphabetically through the list of people they have waiting and you were the first to say yes, and they just phrased it that way to make it sound more personal :-)

Or perhaps Dr.H likes you (!)
