The worst of it has gone, I think, though I had a brief, er, resurgence yesterday.

Is anyone else getting ridiculously acute joint pain?

I had them early on, at the very onset. So bad that for a while they were THE worst thing, worse than the headache (but not as bad as the nausea!) and the reason I couldn't get any sleep worth mentioning the first night. They're gone now, along with the fever.

I take it they are a symptom of ongoing infection, so you may have not defeated the Evil Bug after all. You are staying in and coddling yourself, yes? Taking your paracetamol and drinking plenty of fluids and getting plenty of rest, now that the work deadlines if I understand correctly are past?

I have had none of the stomach-related symptoms at all. Nothing, nada, zip.

I routinely get joint pain, so I'm probably not much of a guide here, but it has been "ridiculously acute" since sometime on Monday afternoon. Like, for example, needing to hop down stairs on just my left leg and using bannisters in lieu of crutches, and so on.

I tend to get joint pain quite frequently too -- but this morning's was a whole other dimension of ick. Three diclofenac before I stopped feeling sick with pain (a big improvement on sick with sick) every time I moved my arm ....
