I have a fairly good component-based hi-fi system* that I am looking to get rid of.

Why? Because my current flat has limited power-points; because I'm actually quite happy with the various mini-systems (ranging from the £17 Tesco one in the bedroom to the £serious Sony one in the lounge) that are strewn around; because I haven't really used it for 18 months and haven't missed using it.

No turntable? And is it a digital (DAB) tuner or just FM/AM? And how big are the speakers?

(I can actually live without getting any of these, but I might be interested ...)

no turntable (I did not have any records by the time I purchased it!) and FM/AM radio only (digital had not been invented ... well, OK, it's not that old, but it's pre-2000)

Speakers are um speaker-sized. 12"? 18"? I will see if I can dig out a photo in which they feature -- the alternative is unpacking, and I have done plenty of that lately!
