Short Stories Online, Day 24
Friday, March 16th, 2007 09:17 amContinuing this week's Mystery Theme (a prize to the first person to state it explicitly, or failing that to
ladymoonray for closest guess) I present to you a slightly-NSFW (but it's only words) classic of the SF genre:
'Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex' by Larry Niven.
I remember reading this when I was about 12, and not really getting it. It's a lot funnier (and a bit nastier) now.

Date: Friday, March 16th, 2007 11:57 am (UTC)I 'I, Cthulhu', Gaiman is trying to write in the style of Lovecraft. Niven's story is a tribute to superhero comics. And so on...
Haven't actually had a chance to read many of the stories, but I've bookmarked a few. ;-)
