[tamaranth]

Flark: A Swedish term referring to limited, usually elongated, wet areas of exposed peat having an algal film and sometimes a sparse cover of sedges. The flark may be several hundred meters in length. On sloping sites flarks are narrow, being only a few meters wide but on horizontal peatland they may be a hundred or more meters wide. The flark axis is always perpendicular to direction of the contours. Synonym of mare (French-Canadian), rimpi (Finnish), and kulju.

That looks a lot like the bookcase of which valkyriekaren bought seven (I think) when she moved into her current flat. She definitely only made six, but there's a seventh box sitting in the corner. She's moving out on Friday, and I'm not sure how many of them will fit into the new place - would you like me to ask after any that don't?

Hmmm - the reason for the text is that the bookcases which K had, which she thinks she bought as Kilby, had labels which said Flarke ... but they all fitted into her new room, anyway ...
