Hard to remember that a month ago I was in the sunshine in Blenheim: now I'm in the rainy gloom of Sussex, and my annual review (have been here a year!) has been postponed at the last minute, and I feel queasy.

Sun! Sand! Sea! Southern Hemisphere!

What amazing pictures! That beach is fantastic, and I just love the mosaics you two created!

I laughed when, going through the pics, I reached one and thought "That coastline looks just like Los Angeles!" Then it registered it most likely WAS Los Angeles. hehe The beaches here don't produce the fascinating wildlife and shells, though - I've never figured out why. But I see sand crabs are the same the world round - we had them in Florida where I grew up, and the fiddler crabs and coquinas and much of the rest of it (though no penguins!).

Here it's windy and a bit overcast and I'm sick. :-p So I think I will nap now.

I was down there a coupe of weekends ago, stalking terns on Tahunanui. Its a beautiful area. I'm going to get some pics up as soon as I work out why my laptop stopped working last night (Hopefully just a battery issue) :-(.
