Sellers fees are more than eBay, but not much (and their default postage rates often make up for that, especially for books). There's also no listing fee - which makes a big difference as books don't sell at all well on eBay...
Proofs and signed, I tend not to sell, so I'm sorry, can't help there!
there's a collectible section for proofs and signed but you have to guess the right pricing and those might well do better on eBay. Amazon doesn't charge until you sell so you can relist ad infinitum. Amazon pays you very quickly, direct to your bank account; the sale isn;t confirmed until the buyer gives valid credit card info. Much less hassle than eBay but maybe not quite as lucrative for something for which there is demand. you can try on Amazon and if it doesn't shift at your first price either lower the price or let the listing expure after 30 days and try elsewhere.
proof/signed if genre might be worth trying with a specialist like Andy Richards or Talking Dead?
