Positive things for Thursday

1. Outcast, by Rosemary Sutcliff (which I had somehow never read before, despite (a) being a Sutcliff fan for ~30 years and (b) owning this book for at least a year
2. L'Oreal Glam Shine Cream -- had almost given up on finding a moisturising lipstick that is tinted, rather than solid colour.
3. Planning the day and sticking to 75% of my plan. (Outcast and shopping took over!)

Date: Saturday, March 4th, 2006 01:46 pm (UTC)I suspect the slashiest bit in Outcast is one of the loose ends -- the 'honest-faced' man who really, really wants to buy Beric in the slave market, but hasn't enough money, and apologises directly to Beric. There's a whole other novel waiting to be told there.
Though I do wonder if she had him renamed 'Hyacinthus' deliberately ...
