Huh. I have 1.5.0.1 on Win XP Pro (SP1). Tried it out in IE6 as well, and it looked like an empty square-ish box then. What's it sposed to be?

I though the point was that she could do different sizes of question marks, since that's what I see in Firefox 1.5.0.1.

Intriguing. I tried changing the character encoding (View -> Character Encoding and then select), but nothing made a significant difference. I'm running W2K here, so it might be OS. Or I suppose it could be to do with installed fonts.

I'm not entirely sure what governs it -- I can see pirates but not snowmen here (Firefox, Linux), question marks (Firefox) or boxes (IE) at home (WinXP) ... The fonts explanation sounds a little more likely. I'd really like to know!
