Black and White and Red ...

I took some photos at Devil's Dyke when it was frosty.
Here's one:

that red haze? Hmm. Won't go.. (Camera was on fairly low-res at the time, so I expected the graininess.)

Any ideas why it stays reddish? What can I do?

I suspect it may be an artefact of your monitor - mine is showing it as pink on one screen, grey on another (and I know the colour balance is off on one).

As a follow up you could try increasing the monitor's colour temperature - the higher, the bluer...

Fwiw I've downloaded, changed to grayscale and done a few twiddles. Am emailing the results.
