I keep tickets, ticket-stubs etc for almost everything I go to: they end up (along with postcards from friends) on a pinboard in my kitchen and every New Year I clear off the pinboard and put the ticket stubs away in a drawer, and start the year with the cultural equivalent of a blank canvas.

This year I note that:
-- my friends have gone to lots of exciting places. I've had one foreign trip -- Copenhagen -- you can see the bus ticket bottom left.
-- I should write more reviews of films, concerts etc
-- my UGC card is paying for itself. Yay!

Wow, that's an impressive cultural/social life you have. What a great idea too, I think I'll start collecting tickets. Of course, this means I'll have to start making more of an effort to get out of the flat to cinemas, theatres and the like, but since that's one of my New Year resolutions anyway, hopefully I should manage at least enough trips to cover a small notice board.

Gosh, what a great idea! (Pecos rushes out to get a bulletin board) But mine won't have to be as big as yours.
