Back from Plymouth

Thank you all for your kind wishes and condolences. It meant a lot to know that my friends were thinking of me, though it was difficult to get online while I was away.

It was a release for my father, and a relief for those around him: but it's still a shock, however long expected.

Apparently the funeral was the best they'd ever had at the burial ground. I'll be writing about that later. Today is my day for gathering the threads of my life.

My mind says he's gone: my heart says he's gone onward.
