Thanks to those who suggested travel clinics. Found a price list. Got stressed. Went for a walk. Realised there's a far cheaper solution, which is to return to GP of Doom in SE8.

One phone call later ...

Funnily, they have no problem fitting me in (so presumably it's only when you need treatment badly that it takes weeks and/or a fight with the receptionist).

Yay needles. I think.

I was going to say that it's probably more that a nurse can do the injections rather than needing a Dr to do it. That's only a guess, mind.

Absolutely, re nurse: but this is the same practice that more or less refused to give me blood pressure tests (also done by the nurse) at short notice.

You should have threatened to test THEIR blood pressure by opening some strategic veins...
