Should have hangover. Don't. Yay for long train journeys home, thus giving time to sober up before sleep!

Having spent a few hours blonde a fortnight ago (my brain is growing back slowly) I smirk ruefully at the best blonde joke ever.

I've sent out parcels of books / CDs to quite a few people. Does anyone know why it's almost impossible to buy small bottles (0.5l) of sparkling water in London shops?

Parcel has arrived safely. Thanks very very much - I've already giggled my way through the Opera Antics, as have various of the people who were over to dinner on Friday. I will reimburse you when I am able - suffering from acute skintness as mentioned before, but that will hopefully rectify itself soon (she says as she continues to fractionheartedly jobhunt). But, yay, BOOKS! :)

No rush for reimbursement, whenever you can! I'm glad the parcel got there so quickly -- took me ages to get around to posting, as it was quite heavy and the Post Office is much further away than I'm used to ... Good luck with jobhunt, and enjoy BOOKS!

saw them at the Astoria in May with NZ f(r)iend whose visit fortuitously coincided with their UK tour (and without whom I doubt I'd've heard them). Ooooh, fantastic -- and one of those bands whose live sound is quite different from their recordings.
