(Almost) Off the Map

I've passed a quiet, countrified evening brushing the furry things (what foul language! I am shocked!) and listening to Radio 3 while doing a jigsaw. Not entirely frivolous: it's one of those Ordnance Survey ones centred on a specific postcode, and I need to get to know the area.
Only trouble with living in the country is ...

I'm glad you have tackled the creatures. I don't suppose it'll stop them shedding, but it might make them a bit more comfortable.

(Like putting out the rubbish horribly early tomorrow. Coo, foxes.) Creatures, however, did not appreciate being made more comfortable. I am surprised you didn't hear them.
