I've passed a quiet, countrified evening brushing the furry things (what foul language! I am shocked!) and listening to Radio 3 while doing a jigsaw. Not entirely frivolous: it's one of those Ordnance Survey ones centred on a specific postcode, and I need to get to know the area.

Only trouble with living in the country is ...

In order, L-R, top to bottom:
- part of Ditchling Common
- anonymous woods
- a bit of stream
- a bit of railway
- god knows
- a dead end

*giggle*

I think we should visit god knows (when you find out where it is), and see/photograph what's there.

I'm glad you have tackled the creatures. I don't suppose it'll stop them shedding, but it might make them a bit more comfortable.

Problem with 'god knows' is its notable absence of roads. It's probably a thicket, or something.

Creature-tackling (and tackling is the word -- lunging across breakfast room floor in pursuit, etc) is a weekly chore. (Like putting out the rubbish horribly early tomorrow. Coo, foxes.) Creatures, however, did not appreciate being made more comfortable. I am surprised you didn't hear them.

I still think it requires investigation. If it was a thicket, wouldn't it be green?

I thought the creatures liked being groomed? And there was a faint yowling noise earlier. I thought it was just Pip cornering some poor fluffy thing...
