Beach trip
Saturday, March 14th, 2009 11:08 amHere is a live starfish (I found a whole thriving colony!) There were also plenty of dead things on the beach, so I photographed some and brought the rest home (bones, wood, shells, stone).
Weybourne Beach was wonderfully empty (it was a cold grey day) and strewn with dead things and plastic. The clliffs were dynamic geology. Meadowlarks singing at the clifftop, seagulls yelling at the tideline.
The North Norfolk Coast Road is a pleasant drive, scenic, only occasionally distressing (I think I ran over a toad that was slowly meandering across the tarmac).
